For sale. OPPO bdp 83 DVD and Blu-ray player. I put this in storage after I got my oppo 203 and havent used it so now is your chance to get one! OPPO made beautiful units. This plays both blu-rays region a and is Region free for DVDs! I plugged it in and popped in a disc and its working perfectly. I tried it with both blu-rays and DVDs both region 1 and a few from other regions and it played everything. Comes with power cable manual and remote. Unfortunately I no longer have the box due to a burst water heater (the player was not in the box at the time so no worries) Everything seems to run great. I took photographs of it playing as you can see. The only thing I noticed was that occasionally you need to push the drawer button twice for it to open if its been off for a while. Apparently this was an issue occasionally with the bdp-83s. Whats amazing is oppo still services these for a small fee so if you ever wanted the whole drawer assembly replaced all you have to do is ship it to them and they take care of it. But it always opened for me. I found it never happens if you leave the power on that even if its been off it opens on the first or secnd push. Oppo was renowned for making the very best DVD and Blu-ray players. Picture quality is superb!Item will be well packed and shipped within 2 days of sale. No returns, but bid in confidence... I have fully tested this player and everything worked great. It plays blu-rays and dvds without issue. The disc tray opens and closes how it should. The remote also works. Expect some minor wear and tear with small scratches here and there. Nothing too serious though.
