Up for sale here here is a vandersteen Model 2 Speaker woofer Original. This woofer came out from a fully working speaker with a damaged cabinet so the speaker is in perfect working condition. I believe the manufacturer of this woofer is Gefco made to the specs of Vandersteen. Rubber surround is in great shape! Comes with original mounting screws.

These are incredible sounding speakers. Vandersteen Model 2 C. They have the rubber surrounds. I bought them from a friend and played them for a few years thru a McIntosh MC275 and C20 preamp. My buddy had a huge Maine Coon Cat and it sharpened his claws on the speaker sleeves. They need to be replaced. If you look at all of the photos, you will see an email to me quoting the cost of replacement. There are videos on YouTube which show exactly how to replace the cloth. I have sold my McIntosh stuff and my reel to reel and Linn turntable. I am dealing with terminal cancer and haven’t the time or energy to do the repairs. I want to sell this pair so my wife doesn’t have to deal with them when I am gone. Like all women I know she doesn’t like big stereo stuff. The stands are the proper stands for the speakers and I am told are hard to find. They are vintage but that is the sound I like. I will not ship them, LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. There is nothing wrong with the speakers except the appearance. If you change the cloth and there are videos for that on YouTube they will be amazing. I am in bad health and can’t do the work. I can’t move them. My wife wants them gone!
