Local pick up in the north Los Angeles area (Santa Clarita). Up for sale is a excellent pair of the legendary Vandersteen 2Ce speakers with stands! These are in nearly perfect condition and the sound quality is excellent! All drivers work properly. These are actually a 4-way speaker with a 10” deep bass (subwoofer) on the back, 8” midwoofer on the front, 4.5” midrange and 1” aluminum dome tweeter. New grill cloth was installed and all drivers were inspected and found to be in excellent condition with no signs of damage or deterioration, so you can expect many years of enjoyment out of these! The stands are custom built and are 1.5” taller than the original stands. This means that you don’t have to tilt them back very far to get them aimed correctly so that the midrange is directly on axis with your ears. This also provides a higher soundstage and better overall fidelity! You can pay for these in person, you don’t have to pay immediately, even if you use the buy it now option. This way you can inspect them first before paying, and I don’t lose the 3 percent fee.

Pair of beautiful golden cherry Vandersteen 2WQ Subwoofers in excellent working condition. Each sub has a built in 300 watt amplifier and controls for the gain and Q (desired tightness of the bass). This model sold for around $2,000 and has now been replaced by the Vandersteen Model 3 Subwoofer, selling for $3,540. One sub has a minor snag in the back corner and the other has light scratches on the top. These flaws are shown in the pictures. Otherwise these subs are in superb physical condition. Vandersteen subs require use of a high pass crossover between the preamplifier and the amplifier. These subs come with the high-end M5-HPD high pass crossover that sells new for $1,714. Local pickup desired. I will deliver within 50 miles of Valley Springs, CA. If item needs to be shipped, seller is responsible for the cost unless other arrangements are made.
