First generation Schiit Modi Multibit Computer does not see the unit when plugged in. Schiit told me its the microprocessor and that they no longer have the boards in stock. Apparently, its not irreparable, they just dont stock the parts, anymore. Selling as is for parts. If youre a computer technician, you might be able to fix this gem but its beyond my ability. Thats too bad because I really loved it. Relisted due to non-payment.

Up for sale is a used Modi Multib DAC. It works great and sounds great. I spent a month comparing to the Bifrost Gen 1 multibit in my office system. This little guy is very close in sound, but the Bifrost is just a little cleaner overall. Both very musical! Note: this DAC has the MD218 chip upgrade making it a V2 (gen 1) Previously I had a Bifrost 2/64 in my system. Honestly, found it too revealing and too bright. I downgraded to the 1st gen as I find them more musical. Shipping to lower 48 states only!

Im the original owner of this silver Modi Multibit 2 that I purchased this past August directly from Schiit for the going rate of $319 plus tax and shipping. Item will ship with original box and all original accessories, including power supply brick, stickers, packaging, etc. This is a great sounding DAC in both OS and NOS modes (switchable by holding the input selector button on the front), but I recently purchased the new Gungnir 2, so Im moving on. Its in fair cosmetic shape. Functionally, it works excellent. Whenever I first bought it and turned it on, the source light started to cycle through the different sources. It does that for several seconds. But that is normal when you first power it up. The DAC is just searching for a signal on all of the inputs. It sounds exceptional for the price. Im only selling it because I upgraded to a $2,000 DAC.

Schiit Modi Multibit 2 in very good condition. Unit was recently sent to Schiit for repair and inspection so now functions as new. I dont have the original box, because it was used to ship the DAC, but Schiit sent the DAC back in a plain box instead. Power adapter included but missing manual.
