Description
Im selling my very lightly used Schiit Jotunheim 2 balanced headphone amplifier with Schiits internal True Multibit DAC add-on card (Schiits latest model Multibit card). Original owner, very light use. For full details, see description below from Schiits web site, or follow the link to their site. Since this Jotunheim 2 has their best internal DAC card installed, it becomes an insanely good all-in-one desktop headphone DAC/amp system. Feed the DAC via USB from a computer or streamer, and plug in headphones to the single-ended or balanced headphone jack - Done! And sounds amazing. Note that the multibit card requires 5V power from the feeding USB device. This is no problem from computers and most streamers. I have run this almost exclusively from an iFi Zen Streams USB output. If you want to feed from an iPhone or iPad you will need the USB camera kit adapter from Apple with the power injector. I have done this successfully with my iPhone and iPad, although it was sensitive to the order in which things were powered/plugged. All original accessories are included - original shipping box, power cord, manual, and stickers!! The following is from Schiits website regarding the Jotunheim 2 Amplifier:https://www.schiit.com/products/jotunheim-1--Unique technology, unrivalled flexibility, and modular design—the Jotunheim 2 sets the standard for balanced headphone amps and preamps.
