I played the Amp for over seven months and it performed well with both VU meters working. Then couple times afterwards I noticed one VU meter progressively getting weaker and weaker over further months until it has almost failed now, so I believe something has definitely gone bad and the Amp needs to be serviced. This amplifier has been tested and is in working order. However, the left meter sticks intermittently around the -30 DB mark. This looks to be a common issue on vintage McIntosh amplifiers. The glass shows some bubble spots near the top, bottom and behind the knobs. Includes the factory Mcintosh wood cabinet. Please see photos.
