Description
For sale is a nice looking McIntosh MAC 4300V receiver. Bought this in a lot with some other gear and am parting ways with the pieces I don’t have a use for. Cosmetically, I’d call this a solid 7/10. A few nicks along the top of the front faceplate and a slight ding (and a few scratches) on one of the wood sides. All of which are easily dealt with. There are also 3 buttons missing on the front, but replacements are easily found on eBay (3D printed replacements or OEM from McIntosh) Functionally, this unit powers on and plays music with the FM and Aux functions tested. It is, however, only playing music out of the right channel. I attempted to clean the pots as much as I could, but might’ve not gotten something cleaned as good as possible. The power meter on the face shows the left channel (which is the channel not working) totally pegged, so it will need to be serviced by a professional (or maybe yourself!) to run at full speed. I think this is a lovely example and is worth a restoration as it might not need much to get going again. Reviews online are very positive for this model. Per the “McIntosh” website, the specs are as follows: Years Manufactured: 1988-1993 Tuning range: FM, MW Power output: 100 watts per channel into 8?
