Has focus adjuster and zoom up to 1.6 in options as well as being able to adjust image up/down/left/right -- all features that mean you can be assured you will get a focused image in the right place every time- again cheap projectors lack this, along with brightness (3000 lumens) and contrast ratio (20000:1) which you can think of as colour depth/not washed out. Short throw means 100 inch image from just 1m away; nice and convenient. I bought a cheap 1080p projector before upgrading to this and kept this for several years. Marks on top as visible but just from oily hands I think - otherwise flawless. Selling due to upgrade to an expensive 4k setup. Used for gaming and movies; low input lag as gaming was absolutely fine (borderlands, sekiro, elden ring etc.). Has good speakers itself so no need for sound System though ofcourse a great soundbar wouldnt hurt - essentially has good tv speakers and due to short throw nature the sound from the projector is from the right place (in front of you and near screen). Bright projector so does work in non blacked out rooms, but like all Projectors the darker the better. Still being sold at rrp of above 1000; tells you how good a product this is with that staying power of several years - amazed it is still being manufactured and sold. Havent used that much - maybe 500hours total at most so bulb of 10000hrs life Im sure has a LOT of life left in it (and can replace anyway but 10000hrs is a movie a day for 15 years so....) Think of it as a TV; fulfills same role though does need some input; I used my laptop with hdmi and got access to everything that way. You wont go wrong with this projector, I promise. But do need a dark room with a blank wall or a screen to use properly; bright rooms tvs are superior, dark rooms especially with a good soundbar its a home cinema. Screen would be best picture but I used a white wall in a blacked out room and no complaints. Proper home cinema buffs you want a 4k projector and a proper sound system as Ive just upgraded to - but Ive done that CHEAP at 3000 so this plus a good 150 ebay soundbar that is worth way more will be a home cinema at much much cheaper price and only perfectionists would see the difference really. Let me know of any questions and watch some youtube videos of this projector to get an idea of what its potential is - can be absolutely great but please make sure you have a dark room or I know Ill get complaints - thats just how Projectors work and why cinemas are dark!
