For sale is my LP12 turntable. This is a main dealer deck and not built by a hobbyist from bits. R.R.P: To buy this quality today iro £6000 Finished in black ash, this turntable is in excellent overall condition, with only one very minor cosmetic blemish where foot of lid touches plinth (see photo) This LP12 comes with: Black ash plinth/chassis, Ittok tonearm, Dynavector MC 17 D3 Karat cartridge, cirkus bearing, Hercules power supply 33/45. This turntable was serviced and updated about 5 years ago at the Sound Gallery in High Wycombe. Since then its been unused and the cartridge has no more than 3-5 hrs of use from new. Original 1985 dust cover for a Linn Sondek turntable Owned from new by me, this LP12 lid is in very good, but not perfect, condition (it is, after all, nearly 40 years old) It is a genuine Linn item and comes off a Rosewood LP12 record player purchased at the end of 1985 The two tiny rubber bump stops were replaced about a year ago (see pics) There are no cracks or damage in any way to the lid. However, there are cleaning swirl marks and minor areas of marking - you might call patina? I have tried to photograph as best I can - not easy with a see-through item! This lid would be ideal to replace a damaged or badly scratched lid where you want a genuine 1980s lid / logo in very good condition If collecting from SW London, cash on collection only. Linn LP-12 - Cherry Plinth - Trampolin Baseboard – Mose Hercules Power Supply - Must See - As explained below, this table is close to brand new. It includes original double box, owners manual setup guide, Trampolin baseboard and brand new Mose-Hercules power supply. I purchased this table in 2015 from an authorized Linn dealer on Audiogon. I intended to use the table in a second system that never materialized. The table has been iin my bedroom with all my to do projects. The dealer I purchased the table from indicated that the table was sold new in May 2014 and the customer decided to trade it in because it got virtually no use (less than 30 hours). Both original setup and disassembly were done by the Linn dealer who has 35+ years of LP12 experience. The Mose-Hercules power supply is brand new, purchased by me from Stamford Audio and was only unpacked to test with the table. The picture showing the chassis of the table is before the installation of the Mose-Hercules power supply. If you purchase this table, I would suggest having a professional set it up by hooking up the power supply to the board on the underside of the table, installing a tonearm and cartridge and adjusting the suspension to match the weight of the tonearm and cartridge installed. It is in excellent condition with only the slightest of marks. The LP12 has been fully serviced by Krescendo HiFi. This includes a full strip down, the three suspension bolts have been checked for exact vertical hanging using the Linn tool specifically for the purpose, the suspension has been carefully set to the correct pistonic bounce, the tonearm has been fitted with the correct geometry using the Linn Kinky alignment tool, the turntable rotation speed has been precisely set to 33.3 rpm using a laser revolution counter. The whole LP12 is in excellent condtion with only the slightest of marks to the plinth and some slight polishing marks on the top of the lid. The LP12 has the Linn Akito tonearm and the superb Linn Adikt moving magnet cartridge. . The deck will be all set for playing music and will only require basic putting back together from the box.
