He replaced all the bearings, repaired VTF dial, and replaced the internal wiring with Cardas. I also purchased a new Audio Origami tonearm box for safe keeping. I have used this on an LP12 with exceptional results. The rebuild has brought this arm into a higher level of reproduction. All functions and features are working. Cosmetic condition is very good with minor signs of use. This is physically clean with no dirt or nicotine contamination. The head shell area has the usual marks from previous use, arm pillar has very little signs of use. Included is the Linn tonearm cable, Ittok arm rest, counterweight, mounting hardware, and all the old parts Paul replaced. Unit has several scratches on the case. The face of the unit looks great. See pics for details. Works great in stereo mode, I did not test other modes in my setup. Comes with 2 remotes, the AV 5101 and an aftermarket unit I just happen to have. Both remotes connect to the head unit and work. I don’t have much knowledge on the history of this unit. Just bought from an estate of an audiophile. If you’re looking at this then you know what it is. One of the finest tone arms ever designed. Comes on the original board and has original cord. The original Karma Cartridge is included but the stylus is bad. I’m not totally sure but I believe it would require a rebuild. There’s some marring on the aluminum mount otherwise in pretty clean condition. I only gave it a light wipe down with a shop towel. I tested the leads with a multi meter for continuity so I know there are no shorts. I don’t know what else needs checking so please ask about any concerns. This is being sold as is for parts. Cheers!
