Excellent set of Kenwood Basic components. Purchased from the original owner. Includes manuals. Great overall condition. This set sounds excellent. Plenty of power! Original power cables for power amp and tuner are included but not pictured in photos. I try my best to describe my items as truthfully and accurately as possible. This offering is for a Kenwood Supreme Series 700M Power Amplifier and the Companion Preamplifier Kenwood 700C. The Kenwood 700M is rated at 170 watts per channel into 8 ohms. This amplifier has been rebuilt. New capacitors, resistors, and transistors. All new output transistors as well. New power supply filter caps have been upgraded. All controls have been cleaned and lubricated. Blue LEDs have been installed in the VU meters. This amplifier truly sounds wonderful. Obviously very powerful with a tremendous low end. This amp is simply fantastic. Cosmetically, the amplifier does have some scuffs and scratches. Maybe 7 out of 10(?). Please observe all photos in order to determine condition. The 700C preamplifier has been serviced with the controls switches, and connections cleaned and lubricated where necessary. Preamplifier sounds great as well. All functions work and inputs and outputs are all functional. Like the amplifier, the preamplifier has a fair amount of scuffs and scratches. I would rate the cosmetics a 7 out of 10 as well. This Kenwood Basic C2 Stereo Preamplifier Control Amp is ideal for those who are looking for a product to repair or for parts. I did fire it up, and it DOES work, but the volume knob produces static while turning. Once it settles in, it sounds great!! As far as I could tell, all the inputs worked as well as the switched/unswitched 110 outlets on the back. Basically, I feel the only thing wrong is the dial.
