Only listed for parts due to the missing power button and since it is probably 90% tested.Missing the power button as you can see in photo 2 but you can still power it on by the switch inside. Tested all of the inputs in back and they all appear to be working well. Only tested through the headphone jack in front but sound was fantastic. All buttons and knobs appear to be working. I dont have an antenna to test with but was able to pick up some FM stations and AM just got static. Did not test outlets in back or the antenna connectors. Overall seems to be working and in pretty good condition other than the missing power button just has some dust and scratches. Edit: Realized after I took the photos that the rack mount tabs have actually been cut off with a cut off wheel so the front side edges of the case are a a bit rough. Will provide photos soon.

This is working nicely. I was able in testing to verify that you can change between all of the inputs. Treble and bass controls along with balance are working. Volume knob is working. The sound is very nice and the hologram feature is working well also. I do not have a remote control for this. Only the main unit.

Carver CT-6 Sonic Holography Preamplifier Tuner. My friend purchased this in 92 from AAFES. We both left San Antonio same day 1996, where I ended up buying some of his things, that included a stereo system. Other than this recent sound check, its been in storage. Weve moved to Florida and have no room to appreciate a nice sound system, not even a man cave or minor bit of garage space. So .. it must go to someone who can. Ive setup and tested each piece and all working in good condition. Although the video contains other pieces of equipment, these are only used to confirm this, or other pieces for sale, are viable working pieces of this system. All other pieces are sold separately. This is a really nice Carver CT-6 Preamplifier with an integrated AM / FM tuner. This is one of Carvers creations using the Sonic Holography feature (switchable on and off). Ive had it hooked up to a NAD 2400PE amplifier, and its fun to tinker with speaker and listening position using the holography mode. Very cool — youll be shocked at what it can do to the soundstage. This unit is working great and has no real blemishes except the plastic button part of the main tactile power switch has been replaced by a 3D printed plastic cover somewhere along the way. What you see in the closeup photos is that replacement button cover. The underlying switch is original, and power on/off works just fine with the replacement button cap. Its been cleaned, and switches and potentiometers have been deoxidized. This one is super thin (just about 2 tall, including the rubber feet and 19 wide measured at the outside of the rack mount front panel — the main body is a bit narrower behind that. These are wooden ruler measurements, so if you have a tight fit in a cabinet or something, let me know, and I can get more precise dimensions for you. Given the low-profile size, there are plenty of inputs for phono, CD, Video, Aux, Tape 1 and Tape 2 (along with Tape outs). The AM/FM tuner has 10 memory buttons with an alternate mode, so you have 20 presets. The remote has been lost somewhere along the way, so thats not included.
