Carver SD/A-490t Vacuum Tube Reference CD player with original remote and owners manual. Condition is Very Good. Please note:- transport rubber belt was replaced, transport was cleaned and lubricated;- everything works as it should, it played every CD I tried without any issues and never skipped;- remote control had leaky batteries in it, but it was disassembled, cleaned and fully tested;- screen and all of the buttons on the unit work perfectly;- not in perfect shape visually but all of the issues are minor: minor scratches on the transport cover, two white marks on the Eject button, a scratch near the back of the top cover (please see photos). Will be properly packaged.

Refurbished with new tray belt. Laser was cleaned and then unit was tested to make sure there were no skipping issues. Played a variety of CDs including some CDRs with no problems. Output filtering circuit uses vacuum tubes for a warm rich sound. Tubes are run at relatively low voltage, so they dont need to be changed very often. Unit is super clean and appears to have been lightly used. Cosmetics are excellent, with no noticeable marks or wear. Includes original remote, which also was tested.
