Thorens TD160.  Started as a Thorens TD160B but now has been upgraded to TD160 Super +++!! Included in this auction: - Upgraded Thorens TD160 - Origin Live motor and control - SME 3009 Series II Improved tonearm with fixed headshell - Misc. accessories and instruction booklets (see pictures) This Thorens TD160B highly modified and dampened for better sound. American Walnut plinth with heavy base and adjustable feet. Custom dust cover that sits perfectly on top of plinth. SME 3009 series II Improved fixed headshell tonearm sent to SME Tonearms in Canada to be restored and retired. Origin Live motor upgrade and controller. Accessories include Aluminum record weight /stabilizer. SME tonearm setup protractors, SME tonearm instructions, Thorens TD160 instruction booklet, Origin Live upgrade instructions, spindle oil, cork placemat, Thorens spring sponges and other misc. Turntable is in beautiful condition and also includes a fixed bubble level and magnetic platter light. I prefer local sale / pickup so turntable is not damaged from shipping.

Thorens TD 150 / 160 Motor with Clutch. I bought when I thought my motor was bad, but turned out to not be the problem so I no longer need as I have since sold the Thorens. Tested and works well. I alway replace the caps, solder and shrink wrap the motor wires anyways. Ive picked up noise because of both. Connections, and the stupid motor wanting to start backwards (the starter cap goes bad). 145-166 60hz are the same. I think its the pully size, been a while.
