Powers up, tries to play tapes, but on both decks the take-up reel doesnt turn and then the deck quickly switch to reverse play then stop and eat the tape . I have no idea if there might be other issues

The cassette deck was made in 2001, so it is the last model as a cassette deck. Maintenance Contents: Complete disassembly and greasing of mechanism New replacement of belts (idlers and other drive belts) Exterior and interior cleaning Pinch rollers (4 in total) were shaved thin on the surface to make the grip as good as new.
