Realistic/Shure RXP3 Cartridge w/ New Kyowa N-92F Stylus – M This listing is for one used Realistic/Shure RXP3 cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are very close & have a difference of less than 1.4%. The included stylus is a new Kyowa N-92F. The stylus has a .2 x .7 mil elliptical tip & the tracking force is ¾ ~ 1½ grams. It is still sealed in its packaging. Also included is a Realistic “P”-mount adapter with the correct mounting hardware & the original stylus guard. Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter, the stylus is new, & this combination has been visually checked, there are NO returns or refunds. All of the cartridge/stylus combinations I sell are sold AS IS - in working condition. I do not offer ANY type of refund, exchange, or return on these cartridge/stylus combinations. If you have an issue with sibilance, it probably means that the cartridge/stylus is not a good match for your tonearm. Not that there is anything defective with this cartridge or stylus. Note: The cantilever (the thin silver tube which the stylus tip is mounted to) is the fragile part of the stylus assembly. The stylus needs to be handled carefully. If the buyer breaks or bends the cantilever when un-packaging, inserting the stylus assembly into the cartridge, or handling the cartridge once the stylus is mounted, I will not be held responsible. This includes while mounting the cartridge to your headshell. It is best to mount your cartridge somewhat loosely first. Then install the stylus. This cartridge was removed from a Realistic Lab 300 which is currently listed on Ebay. The styluss cantilever was bent slightly. All it needs to be fully functional is a new stylus which can be purchased on Ebay for $18 to $28. Although it was made for Realistic , it is a Shure (see picture) M91ED cartridge. If you do buy this cartridge, I recommend that you buy a Pfanstiel stylus since there are a number of Chinese made stylus being offered for sale on Ebay!

It is mounted on a New black aluminum alloy Japanese Nagaoka style headshell with gold lead wires. The bonus here is a EVG nude 0.2x0.7 diamond elliptical stylus that has 15 minutes on it for testing only. The stylus sounds fantastic and is a coin flip between my OEM Shure M91 ED styli. Here is one that you dont see often especially in this condition. An American made by Shure rebadged Realistic R700E. The Realistic version of the venerable Shure M75ED Type II. Beautiful powder blue and silver motif with very nice lettering and a sharp silver Realistic logo. A 5.0mV generator putting out a strong multimeter tested 627/628 ohms per channel with outstanding channel separation and great bass, mids and highs. I have installed a NEW EVG NUDE 0.2x0.7 elliptical stylus. Designed to track at 3/4-1.5 grams and it is completely plug and play on a properly balanced tonearm.
