SHURE/REALISTIC R1000XT CARTRIDGEw/NEW R8X STYLUS HEADSHELL MOUNTED& ALIGNED Near Mint! The R1000XT has nothing in common with the rest of the Shure/Realistic R1000 family of which there are many models. They are all rebadged Shure M75s and M91s made for Realistic. That is not a bad thing. But the R1000XT is a rare bird rebadged version of the venerable ERA III Shure M95 ED v shaped body cartridge. This one is multimeter tested at a very strong 1570/1578 ohms per channel and is one of the last American made for Realistic Shures. This one is next to flawless and comes with a brand new OEM Shure R8X stylus that is a biradial elliptical 0.2x.07 diamond tip. That is a rare bird too. The stylus was only taken out of its package for photo purposes. The stylus will be put back in its original packaging when shipped. It is designed to track at 1-1.5 grams. Mounted and aligned on a vintage early model Technics headshell with original lead wires. Its all here. This is a great everyday player or a superb backup in your collection. Here is one that you dont see often especially in this condition. An American made by Shure rebadged Realistic R700E. The Realistic version of the the venerable M75ED Type II. Beautiful powder blue and gold motif with very nice lettering and a sharp gold Realistic logo. A 5.0mV generator putting out a strong multimeter tested 632/637 ohms per channel with outstanding channel separation and great bass, mids and highs. Designed to track at 3/4-1.5 grams. The bonus is the original Shure ED T2 0.2x0.7 elliptical stylus in like new condition. Sharp as a tack and tested for 15 minutes at 1.25 grams and it is completely plug and play on a properly balanced tonearm.I have mounted and aligned it on a very nice quality New Ebony wood Yamamoto repro style headshell with crystal litz lead wires. Add it to your cart collection or use it as your everyday player. Either way, a Shure M75ED Type II should be in your stable and this is a real nice one. Look at the photos close.
