PROTON AI-3000 II CD Cassette Player Tuner Audio Amplifier CD works perfectly tuner works CASSETTE DECK DOES NOT WORK ( probably needs new belts ) NO REMOTE front flap does close but looks has though one of the hinges has snapped off so when flap is open its a little bit out of place and when shutting the flap you have to maneuver it slightly to lock it into place. For sale is a used Proton 1100 preamplifier. It is in pretty great shape, please look at the pictures. The proton engineers added some nice design concepts found in more costly preamps. They shielded the power transformer to keep stray fields down. They remote mounted the function switches back on the PCB in order to keep the signal path short. They used an Alps volume control to keep channel tracking constant . They designed an all-transistor power supply instead of using fixed regulators. They added a nice moving coil phono input. I recapped the power supply with premium Nichicon Fine Gold capacitors. It has been fully tested and sounds great. All sales are final. You will not get stuck with a non functioning preamp. US sales only please.I will ship this preamp with a copy of the owners manual. any questions, please ask.

This Proton unit has been tested & works. It will come with the original remote control. Ive cleaned the lens on the CD player and the heads on the cassette deck. It is missing one of the tuner buttons (please look at pics) and I also noticed that adjusting the balance knob can cause the sound in one speaker to fade with a little jiggle fixing that (some deoxidation spray or contact cleaner would probably clean that issue up). For the most part everything is fine on this , sounds great , However The Tape Deck is not working and I think belts need to be replaced as it has moving motor inside.
