The enclosure is in good condition with no corner chips. However, it is a product that has been in production for quite a few years and has some scratches. All units are fine. No signs of sticking. (If they stick, they will still produce sound, but the volume will be lower and the localization will be incorrect during stereo playback.) The NS-10M and NS1000M have the same sound tendencies, so after comparative listening, the sound of these speakers sounds very good and localization is not a problem. The NS-10M and NS-10M STUDIO are built on the same concept, and I do not perceive much difference in sound. I think the difference is the difference in allowable input. The NS-10M has an allowable input of 25W maximum input of 50W. 25W 90dB I dont think it is possible to put 25W input in an average home. The sound is too loud and beyond the level of listening to music. The NS1000X was released at a different time and has a slightly different sound direction, so I have not made a comparison. Please understand that this is a used item, and please refrain from bidding if you are looking for perfection. Some people say that the YAMAHA NS-10M is all popular and bad because it does not produce bass sound, but that is the nonsense of those who could not make it sound. It is true that the 10M/1000M Yamaha sealed loudspeakers are difficult to make sound. The fact is that they sold a lot and are still popular. I think it is a proof of their greatness. I have checked the sound of each unit and used them until recently. (I didnt notice that the sound was cloudy.) It is difficult to confirm whether the sound is good or bad by checking at a low volume. (If you make it louder, noise may appear.) I had previously checked the NS-10M sound output and felt it was not right, so I did some research and found that the woofer should have been JA1801, but it was JA1801A I found that the woofer was supposed to be JA1801, but JA1801A was attached to it. If you are a first-time buyer of the NS-10M, you may not be able to understand the sound. The appearance is exactly the same, and you cant tell unless you remove it. This Yamaha JA-1801 woofer for the NS-10M works great and sounds great. As you can see from the photos the woofer cone has indeed been repaired at some point. While the repair was done professionally it is still visible upon inspection.
