Meine Magnepan MG 2. 7 wurden vor ca. 6 Jahren von Herrn Schmitz aus Köln, ( er ist wirklich ein Fachmann was die Maggis anbelangt, Maggi Doc ,) durchgemessen, dabei wurde die Originale Weiche mit neuen baugleichen und hochwertigeren Bauteilen kpl. nach Magnepan Vorgaben erneuert. Die Folie wurde komplett gereinigt und neu verklebt. Hier hat man die nächsten 20 Jahre Ruhe. Darüber hinaus wurde das Anschlussterminal erneuert ( die Originalen sind immer ein Kritikpunkt ) Gleichzeitig wurde meine 2.7 auf die Vollaktivierung vorbereitet. Daher die Vielzahl an Anschlussbuchsen die beim Normalbetrieb überbrückt sind. Das ist natürlich die Königsklasse bei einer Maggi. Bei Vollaktivierung benötig man dann eine aktive Dreiweg Frequenzweiche und natürlich 3 Endstufen. Dann ist die Frage des Lautsprechers endgültig beendet. Die Arbeiten sind sehr hochwertig und professionell ausgeführt worden. Kommt vorbei und hört selber. Optisch sind die Maggis bis auf wenige Gebrauchsspuren noch sehr gut. Noch ein Wort zu dem Verstärker, der die Magnetostaten betreiben soll. Da ist gar nicht ein so großer Aufwand zu betreiben. Mit einem stabilen Vollverstärker wie einem Audionet Sam, Audio Anaoug oder auch einem Cambridge Azur sind ganz tolle Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Aber wie immer, nach oben sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Meine Maggis können sich auf jeden Fall mit einem ordentlichen Verstärker immer noch gegen die vergleichbaren neuen Modelle behaupten. Und die kosten mittlerweile ein Vielfaches. Bei sachlichen Fragen stehe ich gerne zur Verfügung. Und nein….. ich übergebe die Lautsprecher keiner vom Käufer beauftragten Spedition oder ähnlichen Leuten. Selbstabholung wird bevorzugt.
