Linn Sondek LP12 turntable Akito Lingo3 This is an interesting piece. It’s a very good spec Linn LP12 with a mix of new and old that has some peculiar mods. *cartridge is not included* Originally a late 80s unit that was owned by an employee of a hifi dealer. He replaced the original plinth with a different solid corner braced plinth and spray painted the top plate a champagne color to match some his other components. He sold it to a client at the hifi shop in the early 90s who owned it until I purchased it from him 2 years ago. A couple of years before I purchased it that same hifi employee who now owns his own shop, sold the gentleman a new stereo and updated the LP12 for him at that time. He put in new springs and added the Lingo 3 power supply which is a massive upgrade. While much of the original deck stayed, the Lingo brought it to a new level of performance, in addition to the convenience of switching from 33 to 45rpm with the touch of a button. After I purchase it, I brought it to my Linn dealer who determined that the springs were new, but that the belt needed replacing. So two years ago the deck got new lid hinges, a new belt, and was balanced to work like new. He deemed that it was in excellent working order and it has played beautiful music for me over the past two years. Linn LP12/Ittok tonearm/Lingo2 power supply SOLD AS 3-ITEM BUNDLE only. Apologies but Im not prepared to split these items & sell separately- they work so well together & represent a fantastic high-end analogue turntable solution, which if bought separately in latest iterations of each component, would be considerably more money overall.Non-OEM packaging available. All in as seen condition - please study the pics carefully. The only tiny imperfection is the pictured 1mm flaw on turntable platter side wall, which was there when I bought the deck back in 82, & is so small went unnoticed til about 5 years ago when pointed out to me, following going into a Linn dealer for addition of the Lingo 2 power supply (best upgrade I ever did btw). The walnut plinth is a brand new Linn custom finish unfluted, purchased 2 years ago, along with a new armboard & Cirkus bearing done when I bought the AT cartridge, by Peter Swain of Cymbiosis (do the research - hes the king of aftermarket LP12 upgrades), all as part of a full service using Linn approved calibration equipment. The AUDIO TECHNICA cartridge is NOT part of the auction & will be professionally unmounted before collection.45rpm adapter which is included. Sorry - this is collection only from Leeds. As you can see this deck is in my system rack & in use constantly. Time for a change after all this time, but is in perfect working order, & sounds fabulous. Verkaufe ein Linn Lingo2 Motorsteuerung.Ich kann über das Ding nicht viel sagen,mein Vater hat das bestellt gehabt.Ich denke das Gerät ist NEU,sieht zumindest so aus,wie gesagt ich kann dammit nichts anfangen deswegen verkaufe ich es..Wird geliefert in einen zweiten Karton so das der originale nicht beschädigt wird.
