Ive owned this LINN SONDEK LP12 turntable for the last 25 years. I bought it from my Father-in-law, who was the original owner. You can see in one of the photos on the back of the deck where my Father-in-law engraved his California drivers license number (sorry about that). This is a repair service that will service a faulty Linn Lingo PSU and bring it up to the latest specifications. The standard service will replace all capacitors. If there is any other fault on the board, I will diagnose and repair most within the fixed fee. For extensive damage, I will contact you and there may be a small fee to cover cost of additional components. e.g. many integrated circuits and transistors. Once repairs and upgrades have been completed the Lingo PSU will be tested and calibrated to the recommended output voltages and operating speeds. Linn Sondek LP12 turntable Akito Lingo3 This is an interesting piece. It’s a very good spec Linn LP12 with a mix of new and old that has some peculiar mods. *cartridge is not included* Originally a late 80s unit that was owned by an employee of a hifi dealer. He replaced the original plinth with a different solid corner braced plinth and spray painted the top plate a champagne color to match some his other components. He sold it to a client at the hifi shop in the early 90s who owned it until I purchased it from him 2 years ago. A couple of years before I purchased it that same hifi employee who now owns his own shop, sold the gentleman a new stereo and updated the LP12 for him at that time. He put in new springs and added the Lingo 3 power supply which is a massive upgrade. While much of the original deck stayed, the Lingo brought it to a new level of performance, in addition to the convenience of switching from 33 to 45rpm with the touch of a button. After I purchase it, I brought it to my Linn dealer who determined that the springs were new, but that the belt needed replacing. So two years ago the deck got new lid hinges, a new belt, and was balanced to work like new. He deemed that it was in excellent working order and it has played beautiful music for me over the past two years.
