Here we have the best stereo amplifier in the world. I know this to be true because I am from Yorkshire and I am VERY old and consequently NEVER WRONG. It’s a Leak Delta 70. It is clean and tidy and all-original, but UNFORTUNATELY it is not in working condition and IT NEEDS FIXING. It has been in dry storage for over ten years. It hasn’t been re-furbished (you can do that) and it hasn’t had any components/capacitors etc changed. One the plus side... The controls don’t crunch. The switches all switch. BUT... it produces a DISTORTED OUTPUT FROM BOTH CHANNELS. I have conferred with a man-who-knows (he wears a brown lab-coat and has a row of ballpoint pens in his top pocket.. so he’s obviously an electronics expert) and we reckon that there’s a fault in the power supply around the output stage. This could be a simple blown diode, or a tired capacitor, so you’ll have to sort that out. When you get it working it will sound MAGNIFICENT just like mine. When working, it will accept a CD player or two (via “line”) and a tuner or two, and magnetic cartridges. The wooden sleeve/case is all original and shines like Lily Savage’s Lip Gloss. There are a few light marks which can be seen on the close-up photo. They don’t matter a hill o’ beans. It’s fairly simple circuit with no impossible-to-find components. It is, as far as I can see, totally original and un-mucked-about-with, so if you’re used to old vintage gear, and know which end of a soldering iron to hold, I recommend that you fill your boots. I am not a dealer. I am just a very old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses (or I do). Im selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it. What a great business plan (I dont think)! I am certainly NOT INTERESTED IN PROFIT.. ..and indeed, seldom make any! What little profit I do make goes to help a very splendid Wildlife Rescue Charity. The item in the photograph is the item you will get. I have described everything to the best of my ability, and it looks in splendid condition to me. Please check the photographs to decide for yourself. NO OVERSEAS bidders please. And NO OVERSEAS bidders using UK addresses please. 2 power amp and 4 preamp boards for spares/repairs. I believe these were lofted from Syereo 30 Plus and Delta 30 integrated amps. Untested.

This piece comes from its original non-smoking estate; you may notice some markings on the page (slightly amber) and these have been on deliberately by the original owner. There is a power input control so no matter where in the world you are, you will be able to select the correct A/C power requirement provided in your region. Yes, it works! I cleaned the pots, and put in a new fuse for the “on” light. Im pretty sure it doesnt meet the manufacturers original specifications. Then again, I dont really have that kind of sophisticated equipment to test it. It could probably use the capacitor upgrade, and a thorough cleaning and check up. I’d love to fix and keep this, but wifey says I have way too many audio toys. Needless to say, I am selling this unit “AS-IS”, for parts or potential fix. The selector knob is not original, but does the job well. I am also including the 2 speaker plugs, which you’ll need to hook up speakers with. Wood cabinet in good condition.
