In lovely original condition but for some reason the left channel has hardly any sound coming from it! Therefore would suit someone who knows how to fix these

Here we have the second best stereo amplifier in the world. It’s a Leak Delta 30. The very best, of course, is this amp’s bigger brother, the Leak Delta 70. I know this to be true because I am from Yorkshire and I am also VERY OLD and consequently NEVER WRONG. This amp has been in dry storage for over ten years. It hasn’t been re-furbished (you can do that) and it hasn’t had any components/capacitors etc changed. It WORKS very well indeed. The controls don’t crunch. The switches all switch. It will accept a CD player or two (via “line”) and a tuner or two, and magnetic phono cartridges. It is plays loud-and-clear, and is working so well that it sounds very much like my own treasured Delta 70. The wooden sleeve/case is all original and shines like a Sergeant Major’s boots. There are a few light marks, and there is a slight bash in the wood in one corner, which can be seen on a close-up photo. This doesn’t matter a hill o’ beans. IMPORTANT BIT. It is, as far as I can see, totally original and un-mucked-about-with, so if you’re not used to old vintage gear, I recommend that you think long and hard before you buy it. It dates from 1972 (it’s 51 years old, for goodness sakes) so it may eventually need a prod or two from an expert who is used to poking around the insides of these wonderful legendary ancient beasts. At the moment, it is working magnificently. I am not a dealer. I am just a very old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses (or I do). Im selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it. What a great business plan (I dont think)! I am certainly NOT INTERESTED IN PROFIT.. ..and indeed, seldom make any! What little profit I do make goes to help a very splendid Wildlife Rescue Charity. The item in the photograph is the item you will get. I have described everything to the best of my ability, and it looks in splendid condition to me. Please check the photographs to decide for yourself. NO OVERSEAS bidders please. I've been using both of these amps until very recently, one in my living room and the other in my office. These are great amps, however both of them could seriously do with a service so please bear this in mind. The unit with the wooden casing (which is in good condition) has previously had the on/off potentiometer replaced with a standard one (no switch) so needs to be switched on and off at the wall. It as also had some caps replaced inside but developed problems recently so I upgraded to a newer amp. The other unit seems to be all original internally and there looks to be some bulging capacitors needing replaced and some damaged resistors connected to the headphones socket. This would make a great restoration project for someone. Very heavy hence postage costs, but will be well packed and promptly dispatched.

2 power amp and 4 preamp boards for spares/repairs. I believe these were lofted from Syereo 30 Plus and Delta 30 integrated amps. Untested.

Leak delta 30 amplifier. This is in working condition but does have a noisy volume pot when adjusting a bit so would need that sorting out and not sure if every input works well as I think they need cleaning but I’ve played it for hours and it sounds well and is clean inside so good for a small project to get a nice sounding good mock vintage amplifier. Vintage Retro Leak Delta 30 Amplifier & Instruction Manual Teak Silver Mid Cent. This was my personal amp until today which I ran with a Bluetooth receiver. It produces a really nice sound. The top silver trim has lifted in one corner but otherwise in good condition and good working order. Comes with original user manual.

A super dooper vintage Leak Delta 30 amp ....small but perfectly formed with fully working controls and no crackle to pots...Good old Deoxit !!....tested on both CD Player & Turntable, pic five....and all good.Someone, probably a communist, had left that plastic film protector that you, well I certainly do....love to peel of new electrical items, still attached to to rear air vent and its kinda baked a glue residue onto it resulting in a mild discolouration to aluminium....what ghastly utter nitwits, doesnt notice that much, see pics, and certainly doesnt effect amp capabilities but thought I should mention it, otherwise in very nice cosmetic condition..... This amp takes the 2 din variant speaker plug cable fitting to amp...see last picture....very easy to get on Ebay or elsewhere Please see Leak Delta 30 FM/MW tuner also listed...... Working all good....havent got dedicated aerial so just bunged in the blue wire you can see in pics, into aerial slot and lovely clear FM signal as is MW....couldnt get much of one on SW but my area is notorious for its bad signals......In very nice cosmetic condition...see pics. Its still got its 2 pin Euro plug on it so I used a adaptor...you can either cut of 2 pinner and fit a UK 3 pin plug or get yourself an adaptor...I need mine.
