For sale is a single 10 very heavy cast basked woofer from a JBL L80T 3 way floor standing speaker. This is the GENUINE JBL part and has been refoamed and tested with a 30hz signal as I always do and there is no scraping on the voice coil. The donor speakers were made between 1985 and 1987 so the woofers are from this era. Specs are 8 ohm and these are able to handle up to 150 watts. Cone is called aquaplas laminate which is a sound damping elastic used to provide greater bass control and more accurate woofer movement. Aquaplas has extremely high energy dissipation qualities that result in noise and vibration suppression. JBL127H1 has advanced magnetic structure, 2-inch voice coil and was used in many commercial and professional speakers (4410A, XPL 160A, L80T and T3). The measured sensitivity was 92db with very low distortions (less than 0.5% even at 95db SPL for most frequencies), according to a review by High Fidelity magazine.

The port rings are made from plastic and are in excellent condition w/o any defects, w/ the carton cylinders being in good shape as well. Both of these have been taken off of a pair of JBL L80T speakers, which I’m selling individually for parts. These have been stored in a dry, pet and smoke-free environment ever since their purchase.
