This HSU Subwoofer is in excellent condition, it is not new or pristine, but it is excellent. Of all the subwoofers I have tested this one, hands down, is superior in terms of lower frequency audio quality. If you are not familiar with HSU there are lots of articles on Google. I had to take it to the UPS Srore to get the shipping weight, 50 Lbs. I suspect that is why it sounds so good. I took great care when boxing it and it will be insured. Then I tried the beach landing scene from Saving Private Ryan and it felt like I was there. Even my wife commented on how good the bass sounded and felt. She usually doesnt care about or notice these things. Am I glad I bought this sub? At half the price of the Klipsch RT 10d and twice the sound quality.
