1961/62 Hallicrafters Model SX-111. AC, 18.7 Wide, 8.8 Tall, 10.3 Deep. The SX-111 is not a shortwave type, but a ham-band only receiver that was created mainly for sideband work. It does not receive shortwave broadcasts. The ham bands it does receive are 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 and WWV at 10Khz. The 100Khz crystal calibrator does not work because the crystal tube is no longer available. The radio has been repaired, aligned and tested by Toms Antique Radio Repair. All signal and power supply capacitors have been replaced. A complete equipment alignment was performed which peaks each band for the best reception. The case has been sanded and repainted. For SSB and CW listening, this receiver performs very well. Recommend FEDEX shipping.

I got this unit from my uncle and it has been in his basement since purchase. It does have some minor wear. It does power on and all the knobs are working. It does produce some sound when I turned it on. That is the extent to which I am able to test this unit. Please see photos for details.
