McINTOSH MC2205 STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER MC 2205.I purchased 3 pieces from an estate sale ( C-28 & MR78)- I have Hooked everything up and tested and both Channels are working. The pieces show signs of being kept in a non Air Conditioned environment. There is some surface rust on the Chassis and the Glass has age bubbling. The amp plays , switches and gain controls work but are noisy and need to be cleaned. In general the amp is all there but could use a good cleaning and going through. the front glass and bulbs should also be replaced.I purchased a New Factory Mcintosh inner and outer box in order to facilitate shipping.I really hate shipping Mcintosh amps as they are very heavy and the shippers dont really care how they treat them and then when they do damage something they dont want to pay for it. It becomes a very time consuming ordeal!Please discuss shipping options with me if you are interested PRIOR TO PURCHASING Ebay will only allow the item to be insured for the amount paid.I would prefer if the Buyer would take full responsibility for arranging shipping and insuring the amp.I will assist it packaging it properly in the new Factory boxes and will provide pictures that it is packed properly.I have been thru a Damage Claim with Fed Ex before and I dont want to do it again. I do not recommend Shipping with FedEx.Please allow me 4-5 days to prep for shipping as I work. Thanks For Your Interest
