This unit was purchased directly from Magnum Dynalab 2 years ago. They have a program where they take trade-ins (of Magnum Dynalab products) as part of the purchase of a new unit and then they refurbish the trade-ins to factory specifications and sell them on their website. The current price of this factory specification refurbished MD-90 is $800. The current price of a new MD-90 is $950. This narrow difference in price suggest to me that they regard their certified used tuners as virtually identical in quality to their new ones. Thats what this MD-90 was 2 years ago, certified used guaranteed factory specification as new. However, there is a warranty on the refurbished units, one or two years as I recall, but it is not transferable. That is one reason that this MD-90 has a lower price than a direct purchase from Magnum Dynalab. The other reason is that it is 2 years removed from that factory certification. Hard to say what that is worth; it works perfectly, exactly as when I received it two years ago. MDs previous products FT101 are available on eBay for less but they are the previous product not the current product (which is not to say it is not a very nice tuner). Magnum Dynalab is generally regarded as one of the best tuners in the world. It is not always acclaimed as the very best FM tuner in the world, but it is pretty much always among them. I do know that many of the other top five or top 10 FM tuners have not been sold for decades so maybe this is the best currently sold FM tuner. Magnum Dynalab claims that this MD-90 is the tuner most purchased and used by FM radio stations to monitor their over the air signal. A Magnum Dynalab antenna and the Manual are included. The manual is photocopied and spiral bound but thats the way they sent it. Shipping: if you live close to Portland OR you might want to choose your own shipping method. I believe that can be done but if not correspond with me and Ill look for the best way to ship to you. If you live a long way from Portland the best option for long distance shipping appears to me to be UPS Ground Advantage, but again you can choose your own.

Please read the entire description; This is a one of a kind Magnum Dynalab tuner. It had the following upgrades at the factory; Rare silver rack face, full 100 upgrade plus more, including Kimber Kable, balanced connectors, carbon fiber blocks on the bottom, with large tip toe spikes. Balanced (xlr) connectors (this was actual additional to the 100 even, as a signature upgrade) Kimber Kable silver litz wiring, and the bypass caps on the output stage were upgraded to Mundorf and Solen. There was something else capacitor/component -wise, but I dont remember.Read picture with tag on box, it references this. This also was barely used, has to be one of the nicest ones that exists, and has the manual, original box, spike feet, and just sounds better than any Dynalab I have heard. Will double box. The left meter moves when the tuner is turned off.I use a power strip and turn it off that way it dont move. 2 gentleman wrote me and they have the same tuner.They tell me theres do the same thing.1 wrote Magnum Dynalab and they told him.this is how it should be. They said there is a technical reason for the meters always moving. They said it dont affect the life of the meter.The other gentleman said he bought his Factory refurbished, and the meters mover right from the factory. This is in As Pictured physical condition.This will be packed with carewith protection on all sides top and bottom!The shipping is for the lower 48 states only.If you have any questions please feel free to ask, thank you!

Very nice Dynalab tuner. Works correctly. I live in the country and most radio stations are over 30 miles away, this still pulls in many stations with an indoor antenna.
