This vintage headshell sled is a great addition to most vintage Dual 12xx series Dual turntable. It comes with a Shure M93E cartridge and is compatible with the Dual 12xx series. This headshell sled is perfect for those looking to upgrade or repair their turntable, or to add an additional cartridge to their collection. The stylus and cantilever appear to be in excellent condition. Buyer pays $7 shipping. For repair/restoration/resale. I don’t know much about turntables, but I will try to describe the issues. It powers on and something in the bottom is spinning, but the turntable itself won’t spin. There is also an orange light as shown in the pictures, so it does power on but something is wrong with it. I turned it on for the first time in years. When I switched the stop/start switch from “stop” to “start,” the switch got locked in the “start” position. Now I can’t move it back to “stop” (It takes a lot of force and I don’t want to break anything). Also, the black lever on the right side had some resistance when I first moved it forward (normal amount of resistance indicating some mechanical thing going on that is supposed to), but now it moves back and forth with nearly no resistance. Not sure what is going on there. If you know about these things and think the issue could be a simple fix, let me know what could be wrong so I can see if I can get it working and update the listing. Also let me know if you need any more pictures. The dust cover has scratches but no cracks. The wood also has minor scratches. Will pack very carefully for shipping.
