DBX DX5 Compact Player sold for Parts Or Repair Our testing found that the disc drawer would only open some of the time, likely needs new belts and lubrication. When it did open we were able to play some of our CD’s but others it did not read. The eye likely needs cleaning as well. After finding these issues we stopped testing. The cosmetics on this unit are very nice and there is just signs of light wear and tear to the cabinet as shown in the photographs. Please look closely at the pictures as they are part of the listing description. This unit seems to only power on when you first plug it in. It will let you try it off through the power button but the power button for some reason won’t turn it back on. Have to unplug it and plug it back up. Have not tested it to see if plays cds. Selling as is for parts.

Two Professional Single Channel DOD Model 431 (one Series II and one series SR Q XLR) 31-Band Graphic Equalizers. Excellent working condition. Made in the USA in 1995. Solidly made. Audiophile quality sound. Rack mountable. Although they are slightly different models, I cannot tell their sound apart. The XLR only accepts XLR and 1/2 connectors. The Series II accepts 1/2 and RCA plugs. All the indicator lights work. I wasnt able to get a picture of the red level indicator light without bursting my ear drums. So I did not attempt it. The Series II eq seems to have more gain than the XLR, perhaps because it uses a potentiometer instead of a slider. Their top covers were scratched up and faded. I had them professionally sand-blasted and powder-coated with Polished Aluminum paint (and a clear coat) last year. They both come with power cords. The XLR came to me with two broken sliders. My technician replaced them. They are a little longer than the original sliders. I sprayed all the sliders with DeoxIT F5 Fader cleaner and lubricant last night (01/22/25). The sliders slide smoothly and effortlessly. I have used these equalizers in my home audio system from time to time over the last 14 years. They will outperform and outlast most of the new Chinese made equalizers. They will be packaged well for safe shipping and delivery.
