Here we have a Rare Silver Faced Yamaha K-65 Natural Sound Stereo Dual Cassette Deck This has been serviced with the following. Capacitors on the main power board and each deck have been replaced with original OEM ones. All other caps checked and tested. Cassette heads have been cleaned and aligned. PLEASE NOTE : This was done some 6 months ago along with belt changes. The only belt not changed was the one for the counter as it was a royal pain in the rear end, and for the life of me could not get it to stay on.So the only thing that does not work is the counter. Other than that it works and records well. The case, and it is how I got it, has been re-painted at some point as I am sure it was silver ish originally. But this is how I got it. Please see pictures as this does have the odd scratch here and there, but probably no where near as bad as it would have been originally. I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different... The numbers/letters in parentheses are Equivalents put in to help people to find the correct tube. If it does not say MATCHED then please do not consider them to be such. I use a TV7/U military spec Tester which is calibrated . I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same. So this shows what I get, and what you get may be slightly different. So all test results are a guide only.I also use a Hickok 752 /800/600 or Amplitrex AT1000 for testing All tubes have passed the Gas and short tests. Yamaha ct-800 am/fm tuner.Working condition all functions work curser light works but background light does not.Signal strength meter sticks some times but wakes up if you tape it.This is a thirty plus year old tuner understand that it is currently working but may need cleaning/service to perform at its best.I do not know service history.I ONLY ACCEPT BIDS AND SHIP TO LOWER 48 USA.

I went through this pretty extensively, cleaning all of the knobs and metal, dusting out the inside, cleaning all of the pots with contact cleaner (deoxit), replacing the lamps with longer lasting (and really cool aesthetically) LED lights and a general deep clean. All in all, everything is working great. The AM/FM radio works great with the antenna working as it should. I had a record player hooked up to it and it sounded great. I really cant find any faults with it after going through it.
