Extremely well cared for as-501. Bought it from a collector who installed customer knobs on the dials. Very cool and unique. Sound is amazing for vinyl. I *should* have the original box, just havent had the time to look yet. Will update soon about that.

Here we have a Rare Silver Faced Yamaha K-65 Natural Sound Stereo Dual Cassette Deck This has been serviced with the following. Capacitors on the main power board and each deck have been replaced with original OEM ones. All other caps checked and tested. Cassette heads have been cleaned and aligned. PLEASE NOTE : This was done some 6 months ago along with belt changes. The only belt not changed was the one for the counter as it was a royal pain in the rear end, and for the life of me could not get it to stay on.So the only thing that does not work is the counter. Other than that it works and records well. The case, and it is how I got it, has been re-painted at some point as I am sure it was silver ish originally. But this is how I got it. Please see pictures as this does have the odd scratch here and there, but probably no where near as bad as it would have been originally. Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look the same, this is not always the case. I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different... The numbers/letters in parentheses are Equivalents put in to help people to find the correct tube. If it does not say MATCHED then please do not consider them to be such. I use a TV7/U military spec Tester which is calibrated . I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same. So this shows what I get, and what you get may be slightly different. So all test results are a guide only.I also use a Hickok 752 /800/600 or Amplitrex AT1000 for testing All tubes have passed the Gas and short tests.
