I bought these speakers in 2016 from Amazon (receipt from Amazon attached as a photo) Stopped using them in April of 2022, when i bought a few Gen2 Sonos One devices. Why did I stop using? It was a little hinky using Airplay through the Yamaha MusicCast app. Occasional disconnects and would stop for no reason. The Sonos ones worked perfectly. Before you buy, if you want to use with Airplay, Id look at current reviews to ensure that whatever bugs were with either Airplay or Musiccast (you can never tell whose software caused the issues) that made them not behave a few years ago, to ensure theyve been fixed. Ive got to believe they have at this point, but caveat emptor for that aspect of your purchase, I wont warrant it will work with Airplay. Other than that they worked just fine, if I was using whatever native streaming there was on MusicCast or if I streamed from my NAS.
