NO RSERVE AUCTION - Yamaha DSP-E580 Digital Sound Field Processing amplifier. This component was one way you can create a surround sound setup around your two channel stereo system. Just run a pair of RCA cables from your CD or DVD player into it and it will digitally synthesized the signal into a pseudo five channel sound. You just need to hook up a center channel speaker and a pair of surrounds to the Yamahas speaker outputs and your system is suddenly transformed into a five channel setup. This unit is being SOLD AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIRS because the center channel speaker out is emitting no sound. Not too sure if if is a setting issue or a hardware issue but the surround sound speaker outputs works just fine. Remote has a few worn out rubber buttons but works when pressed.
