Up for grabs is this very nice, ready for use Yamaha C-85 pre-amplifier. The unit is in fantastic condition with hardly and handling wear and is in perfect working order. The unit has superb sound quality with no hissing or white noise during operation. Just prior to posting this I cleaned out all the potentiometers and switches eliminating any scratchiness when making adjustments. This model has a very nice set of bass / treble adjustments including a variable loudness knob right behind the main volume knob (my favorite feature of this pre-amp!). All the rear inputs sound great including both phono stages. Included with the set is a full instruction manual and two RCA cables for basic hookup. Please see all pictures and ask any questions! Very nice WORKING Yamaha preamp. This was Yamahas TOP OF THE LINE model. These vintage Yamaha preamps have great reviews, due in part because they have GREAT PHONO STAGES along with PARAMETRIC TONE CONTROLS that allow you to adjust center frequencies/width/gain. This model also has VARIABLE LOUDNESS control which I like very much. This model has 2 AUDIO OUTPUTS which allows you to run 2 amps at once. All switches and pots have been cleaned and work. Knobs have been upgraded/modified to ones that are easier to see the marker. It will be well packed for safe shippment. BID with confidence!

Great sounding preamplifier with nice parametric eq style tone controls . Looks in good clean shape , front power button tip is missing but power button works as it should . There are dents , dings and scratches in case and front but as you can see in pics , it still looks great . Please look at the pics very carefully and use zoom feature before bidding on this vintage used unit . As with vintage electronics like this one , there are no returns or refunds offered and no guarantees either expressed or implied . That aside , this is a great preamp in my opinion . Thank you .
