Cross posted locally won’t last! Best Offer? Please read everything. The only reason I am doing for parts and repair is due to the fact that the pre-amplifier is not working. Amplifier was serviced at some point along with everything else. I just did my own general service and inspection. I have played the amplifier for multiple hours and it performs well. The tuner pulls in stations. But I’m sure it would not hurt to exercise the buttons a little bit more. I cleaned the controls on the preamp amplifier but the unit did not power up. The unit weighs 80 pounds so I believe with everything else it will be about 100 pounds. Everything will be properly shipped and packaged. Please allow some extra time for Safe packaging. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Condition of amplifier is very good. Condition of tuner is very good. There are some dings on the pre-amplifier. Yamaha C-85 preamplifier. Very good condition. Has some light scratches normal for age but shows well. All audio inputs and phono stage work as they should. Never used video inputs. Used with a M-85 power amp in my second system for quite a while with no issues. Sounds great, especially the phono stage. *Revised listing: added picture with control bay door open. The hinges are tight and the door open and closes smoothly. This is a vintage piece. I cannot guarantee it will operate perfectly for any length of time. YAMAHA C-85 Natural Sound Stereo Control Amplifier OWNERS MANUAL !! Hard to find original manual for one of Yamahas classic preamps. There is a good bit of condition issues: It has binder holes punched in it.It has a crease across the left side on the manual near the spine.It has a lower right corner thats been beat up (no there is no stain; ..thats just a photography issue).And there is general wear mostly on the covers. Regardless of the condition situation; ...this is a original and tough to find manual thats complete and ready to read!
