Yamaha C-60 stereo preamplifier, unit works, however, unit has been dropped Unit has been tested and seems to work as it should, however, selling for parts, I believe the unit was dropped, top cover has dents and scratches, some of the scratches have been touched up. Please see photos. The top cover tabs that attach the cover from below some are broken off, again please see photos, there’s a missing trim piece above the tone bypass and audio muting button. Again, multiple scratches, dense and scratches, missing pieces, etc., broken tabs. However, unit has been tested and seems to function. Selling as is with no returns. This Yamaha C-60 has been Serviced and Tested. All control contacts have been cleaned, solder joints have been repaired [including ground points], and any out of tolerance components have been replaced. The cosmetic condition is good to very good ... no deep scratches or noticeable dents. There are some scuffs which are hard to see with the naked eye ... please see photos. I bought this pre amp in 1985 and it has served me reliably for most of that time. A few years ago it started to make noises and retired it, planning to have it recapped. Then I got a great deal on a threshold pre amp and the rest is history. It has been sitting in the closet since and I finally decided to let it go. It was working when I took it out off service,but at this point ,who knows. That’s why I am listing it as For parts or repair.

Yamaha C-60 Preamp -(Power On But Not Working) parts only no way to test. Powers on and when paired with Yamaha M80 intermittent sound from one channel only not sure if its the amp or pre amp no way to test, sold as is parts or repair only. cosmetically looks quite nice

Tested & works. The exterior is in rough condition, has scratches, wear & some light damage. Missing power button face cover. The bottom cover screws dont hold on very well as there some cracks in the plastic but the cover does stay on albeit a little loosely.

These are very underrated preamps. All functions work and door operates smoothly. Cosmetically a 9 of 10. Minor scuffing on the top of the cabinet. All Lights work (see pictures). Parametric tone controls (not available on most non SAE preamps!)This allows setting the turnover point and the amplitude of tone correction. Variable phono cartridge loading ( also rare on non yamaha preamps)US bidders only please.Thanks for bidding. Will be well packed with LOTS of bubble wrap and peanuts for safe travels.
