Dieser WADIA 830 ist zweifellos einer der best klingenste CD-Spieler, den ich kenne (und ich bin seit über 40 Jahren Hifi-Fan). Der Klang ist sehr audiophil, luftig und räumlich (im Test heißt es: Raum, Ruhe und Ausdruck). Die einfachste Beschreibung ist, dass der WADIA 830 wie ein teurer Plattenspieler aufspielt, sehr analog. Die CD wird umgedreht gespielt und liegt dadurch optimal am oberen Laser an. Ein echtes High End Referenzgerät. Der WADIA ist schon ein paar Jahre gespielt und die Bedienelemente am CD-Player direkt funktionieren nicht richtig und sehen nicht mehr neu aus. Das hat mich nie gestört, da die Fernbedienung einwandfrei funktioniert und ich immer damit bedient habe.
