Dieser WADIA 830 ist zweifellos der beste CD-Spieler, den ich kenne (bin seit über 40 Jahren Hifi-Fan). Der Klang ist sehr audiophil, luftig und räumlich (im Test heißt es: Raum, Ruhe und Ausdruck). Die einfachste Beschreibung ist, dass der WADIA 830 wie ein teurer Plattenspieler aufspielt, sehr analog. Die CD wird umgedreht gespielt und liegt dadurch optimal am oberen Laser an. Der WADIA ist schon ein paar Jahre gespielt und die Bedienelemente am CD-Player direkt funktionieren nicht richtig. Das hat mich nie gestört, da die Fernbedienung einwandfrei funktioniert und ich immer damit bedient habe. In 2022 wurde bei AUDIO REFFERENCE in Hamburg ein neuer Laser eingebaut und Alles wurde mal durchgecheckt. Der WADIA 830 hat einen eigenen, geregelten Vorverstärkerausgang und kann direkt an eine Endstufe angeschlossen werden. Ein gutes Netzkabel, original FB, Manual undeine STEREOPLAY mit original Vergleichstest: WADIA 830 vs. MarkLevinson No 39 (wurden gleich gut beurteilt) sind dabei, siehe Fotos.
