Njoe Tjoeb 4000 CD player with a tubed output stage that evinces the kind of soundstaging depth, liquidity, timbral accuracy, high-frequency detail, and top-to-bottom smoothness. Add a specially tweaked AC cord and a set of special vibration-damping isolating footers. Some down sides are This player takes a long time to read a cd, and creates some scratch sound. Some time it doesnt read a cd so you have to patiently start the process again. Occasionally the tray open and close right away when you press eject. Display is very dim. No remote control But when it starts singing the sound is very sweet. Due to the limitations of this player and consider the offer price it will be sold as it. Thank you

AH! Njoe Tjoeb 4000 Tube CD player. As-is, for parts or repair, no returns. This is a great Tube CD player if you can get it working. It's based on the Marantz CD-4000, I believe. Includes a remote and torx screwdriver for opening it up. Also includes the CD transport mechanism (which doesn’t work). AH! NJoe Tjoeb 4000 - Based on Marantz CD4000 with remote control. I have owned this for about 5 months - I havent done any tube rolling. I have added some internal shots here now. I noted that the rca connectors are slightly bent - see pic. This was like this when I bought it, its very solid, and in no way effects the sound of this unit The unit is in very good condition with only a few small marks on it that I can see - I have tried to show these in the pics. This is a legendary CD player with loads of online review.
