Extremely hard-to-find vintage pair of Jordan Watts auxiliary high frequency unit s(up to 22KHz according to specs) for GT., Jodrell or Jupiter loudspeakers. Both HF units are in great conditions. Serial #851058 measured 6.0 ohms and serial #851059 measured 5.7 ohms. Please see pictures for details. From vintage Jordan Watts advertisement: G.T., JODRELL and JUPITER. These loudspeakers have an auxiliary high frequency pressure unit connected in parallel to the amplifier through a blocking capacitor and variable resistance so that the high frequency component of the reproduced sound can readily be adjusted to suit room acoustics and personal preference. Because Jordan- Walts modules span the entire audible frequency spectrum this arrangement eliminates any crossover network roughness. The control knob at the rear should be recessed if the speakers are to fit against a wall. Due to the nature of vintage drivers, these items are sold as-as. (No return).
