This is my Threshold S/300 Audio Power Amplifier.Black in color.I last used it a couple of months ago. It is in good working order, and it sounds great. This is a powerful, pure-sounding Class A/AB audio amplifier. It is 150 watts per channel into 2-channels. 300 watts total.Photos are of my actual item.Retail price was $2,800 when new. And the Threshold amps that carried this technology is still one of the most coveted amps in hifidom. This S/300 is a later design that featured Optical Bias (which increases its desirability) which was a sonic improvement over the earlier models that didn’t have it. Technology was state of the art back then but the amp easily rivals anything out there in the sub-$5,000 category. Power output is a robust 150W per channel and the built and finish is second to none. Threshold gears are very rugged and almost meant to last forever .
