Enjoy the world of THORENS unique belt idler drive. ?Condition Each part has been polished/cleaned. The arm, platter, and metal parts are polished to remove dirt and rust as much as possible. Knob/Platter/Rubber Mat ?There are no noticeable scratches on the knob/plate and no evaporation of bubbles from the level. ?The rubber mat is in good condition with no signs of deterioration. ?The platter has some scratches and dullness due to aging, but it is still shiny. Cabinet ?Overall, it is shiny and clean with no major damage. All four plastic feet are crack-free and support well. ?The mushroom rubber is also elastic with no signs of deterioration. Tonearm The arm is shiny and beautiful. Overall, it is in beautiful condition. Considering the age, we judge it to be in good condition. ?We tested it for half a day to a day to check the operation. Turntable: It works well It rotates stably at all rotation speeds when powered on. SME 3009 series iii Tonearm. Comes with cables but no cartridge. Selling on behalf of my elderly neighbour who was a classical enthusiast and bought this new so is a one owner example. This came off a working Thorens table which has now been sold. Its in fantastic condition and will be well packaged or can be picked up from Kingston upon Thames KT1. I will be listing an early version 3009 unimproved along with some quad amps and various head shells, cartridges classical records and a Garrard 401 that also belonged to my neighbour.
