Excellent condition, the only blemish is on one of the baffles, courtesy of a drop (see pics). The magnetic grilles cover the blemish up. Otherwise the cabinets are beautiful and grills have no issues at all. The stands are one-piece metal construction with spikes on the bottom. The speakers attach via four bolts to the stand. At this price point a mere 10 years ago, you would expect a high-quality, audiophile speaker, and the Thiels do not disappoint! Full and articulate sound, perfect for music or in a home theater environment. Ive used them briefly, coupled to an Odyssey Khatargo amplifier and Vincent preamp, and they sound incredible! Although a bookshelf, bass response is deep and tight. The highs sizzle like the legacy Thiels, absolutely incredible sound!
