These are my Thiel 1.2 speakers, I have not used them for a year so its time to sell. They are in very good condition as you can see in the pictures. The wood is beautiful but does have a few small scratches on the bottom of the sides. These are not visible in normal use. The cones and surrounds are perfect. Otherwise the cabinets are beautiful and grills have no issues at all. The stands are one-piece metal construction with spikes on the bottom. The speakers attach via four bolts to the stand. At this price point a mere 10 years ago, you would expect a high-quality, audiophile speaker, and the Thiels do not disappoint! Full and articulate sound, perfect for music or in a home theater environment. Ive used them briefly, coupled to an Odyssey Khatargo amplifier and Vincent preamp, and they sound incredible! Although a bookshelf, bass response is deep and tight. The highs sizzle like the legacy Thiels, absolutely incredible sound!
