Das Deck kann man ganz normal anschalten und wenn man eine Cassette einlegt, kommen auch Ausschläge auf dem Display, dass er die Cassette abspielt. Er spielt die Cassette auch ab. Aber leider fehlt der Ton. Technics RS-DC10 Digitalkompaktcassetten-Deck - schwarz - für Bastler Ich habe dann das Gerätzu einem Fachmann bei mir in Siegburg gegeben. Im letzten Foto sehen sie die Diagnose vom Fachmann vom Repair Cafe: Cassette lädt, Kopf fährt ein, Gummiandruckrolle geht nicht zum Capstan = kein Bandtransport Der Fachman meinte aber, dass das Gerät eine Rarität ist und mit ca. 800 Euro gehandelt wird, wenn es funktioniert. Deshalb soll ich es einfach mal hier für 200-300 Euro mal einstellen, da sich das Gerät bis auf den einen Fehler in einem super Zustand befindet. Also, eine Gewährleistung - Garantie gibt es natülich bei einem defekten Gerät nicht. Vintage, remote control. It worked last time I tried it, but it has been in a drawer for 25 years. I have no way of testing it.

Technics RS-DC10 DCC Digital Compact Cassette Deck This unit was unfortunately stricken with leaking capacitors as all first gen DCC players are. When I received it, it had no sound at all. I recapped both affected boards and I then had sound on both channels when using analog tapes. The video in the listing photos is of it immediately after repairs. After a few hours though, the audio quality had degraded and both channels had static and mild distortion. Now the left channel has dropped signal quite a lot. It will load and play DCCs but there is no audio output at all. Mechanically its operating fine but its probably going to need at least a new read/write board to restore operation. Will be safely packed for postage, international postage is also on offer however this will be expensive. Its a heavy and bulky unit.
