Here is a very rare Technics RS-DC10 DCC digital compact cassette deck. This is not a conventional cassette deck! Will be supplied with its original remote, user manual and two recordable tapes which have been used, but work fine. Condition report: The front panel of this player is in good condition, with the exception of the record level knob, which has a number of marks which have gone through the paint (see picture). Also, the top left corner has had a slight knock (see picture). The main case does have quite a few scratches, which I have tried to highlight in the pictures. In use: I have powered and played this unit. It is fast forwarding and rewinding strongly, with no issues. It will also play a cassette and the sound is superb - a really impressive format. However, the play function appears to stop after a period of time... sometimes perhaps just ten seconds, and sometimes after quite a bit longer (a few minutes). It will not then play again, unless you fast forward to rewind even just for a second - then it will play again. The remote works perfectly. Summary: A super rare Technics digital compact cassette player. Frustratingly, this certainly needs a service - its so close to playing normally, but selling For parts or not working because of the observations above. As such, Im not able to offer any warranty on this item and cannot accept returns. The small print...The photographs show the actual item being sold.
