Overview The universal tone arm was developed to address the major issue of low-frequency resonance damping in pickup systems. The variable dynamic damping mechanism is capable of properly damping low-frequency resonances of both high and low compliance types, bringing out the full potential of the cartridge. The main weight is split and supported by a spring on one side, and floats on the other side by the attractive force between two magnets placed opposite each other at the rear of the weight and the damping selector. The resonance of the weight is damped by viscous silicon oil and a damping cylinder, effectively damping the resonance of the entire pickup system and successfully reducing resonance to less than half that of conventional systems. The resonance frequency of the main weight can be adjusted with the damping selector at the rear of the main weight according to the cartridge compliance, and the amount of braking can be set to an appropriate value. The arm pipe, 9.5 mm in outer diameter and 0.5 mm thick, is made of titanium nitride pipe arm, which is made of lightweight and mechanically strong titanium that has been further hardened by nitrogen. The tone arms support structure is made of titanium nitride pipe. Both the horizontal and vertical rotation sections of the tone arm are supported by a gimbal suspension system that uses bearings with high-precision pivot bearings manufactured in-house. The horizontal and vertical rotation axes intersect at a single point, minimizing differences in initial sensitivity and sensitivity in all rotation directions. The Stereo Receiver works on all channels and has virtually no crackling when dials and switches are operated. The stylus looks relatively new and has a protective cover with it. The only issue is the Turntable hinges which have snapped unfortunately. The lid is without cracks but has scratches. It does require a 4 way in-line unit (included) - see photos but the Turntable can run off a conventional figure 8 plug and lead if you wish. Technics SU-MA-10.in Buone condizioni,leggeri segni sul frontale,per il normale uso,unico difetto rilevante sono due scritte del selettore che si sono cancellate,non sono presente (quelle dellingresso Phono e del CD) ,per il resto lamplificatore perfettamente funzionante, lamplificatore dispone di un ingresso phono MM-MC, pi un Dac incorporato,per altre caratteristiche vedere in rete.
