Nice vintage teac set for sale FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY because this set is not fully tested. I dont have speakers and enough knowledge to fully test it. Visually all units looks fine. All powers up when plugged to mains power. Radio tuner seems to be toning fine. I run auto tune and it stopped on 96.4 which I know is greatest hits radio around here. Amp power up. Power light comes on. All buttons works ok. Cassette player makes buzzing noise when powered up. Sounds like running fan to me. Runs ok on FF and on Rewind. But on play it seems to be pulsing ( not running evenly) a little bit. So cassette deck probably need some service. And overall service would be welcome as this system clearly havent been used for some time. I got it from house clearance people. Have some light age and wear marks. Comes with paperwork and some cables as per pictures. Sorry no returns as it listed as for parts or repair. Collection in person is preferred as it is heavy. TEAC V-970X High end 3 Head cassette deck. With original remote. Sounds great.. See pictures for the exact cosmetic condition of the cassette deck. It is fully functional. Sounds fantastic. I have tested the wow and flutter and it comes out to +- 0.07% and considering the built in w&f of the test cassette it means that its basically negligible. Comes with the original remote control as well. The only thing to mention is that the cassette doesnt open slowly. Other than this a really nice high end deck that makes wonderful recordings. On par with my sony tc k 909 thats been fully calibrated. Has a fantastic calibration system as well that allows for separate adjustment per channel instead of the usual balance knob.
